Scope of Position

The position is for a talented, energetic, and motivated Polisher who is detail-oriented and safety-conscious. As part of the Stainless-Steel Department, this individual will be responsible for grinding and finishing high-quality stainless-steel fixtures in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

This role requires grinding, polishing, and deburring stainless steel on the various products being manufactured.

This position reports to the Stainless-Steel Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Orlando, FL.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Being responsible for most of the aspects of metal finishing


• Grinding, polishing, and deburring metal (stainless steel) on the various products being manufactured


• Providing recommendations and general production process improvements.


• Performing equipment PM as assigned.


• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties assigned by the Stainless Steel Supervisor


• Demonstrate commitment to Watts values of Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, and Transparency.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ratings, rpm and torque of the tools being used throughout the processes.


• Able to utilize a variety of hand/power tools (grinder wheel, polishing tools, etc.)


• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.


• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including a drug test, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

• Experience grinding, polishing, and deburring metal preferred

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the company's location in Oviedo, FL. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements : Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.


• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.


• Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.


• Ability to physically move around the manufacturing floor.


• Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.


• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
