Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, seeks a Policy SME to support federal investigations and operations policy, shaping and delivering specialized instruction for law enforcement professionals. This pipeline role focuses on updating and aligning guidance with current standards and legal guidance.

Responsibilities include policy updates, advising in the IPO workflow on topics from undercover operations to counterintelligence, and ensuring accuracy and mission focus across the DIOG and related FBI/DOJ

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 20 years of experience in DOJ and USIC management and legislative oversight.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with FBI investigations (criminal and national security).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information sharing between USIC agencies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience participating in working groups and providing input on policy-related matters.
• Knowledge and 3 years of experience assisting in updating the investigations and operations guide, guide-related policies, and internal FBI policies.
• Knowledge of the Attorney General Guidelines (AGG).
• Ability to work independently, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to FBI personnel at the senior executive level.
• Strong analytical, writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with the intelligence policies and procedures within the FBI, DOJ and ODNI.
