Job summary

AltaMed Health Services in Commerce, CA is seeking a Policy Senior Analyst to support the Government Relations team. The role focuses on coordinating legislative activities and analyzing public policy to advance AltaMed's public health priorities and advocacy goals.

The Senior Analyst will work across departments to monitor policy developments, prepare briefs, and promote AltaMed’s mission to improve access to care for diverse communities in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or related field. Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in legislative, advocacy, or public policy work.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managed care environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Senior Policy Analyst or equivalent.

Job Overview

The Senior Analyst, Policy assists with the coordination of legislative activities, analysis of public policy, and promotion of the Government Relations Department's goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum BA Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or related field. Master’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in legislative, advocacy, or public policy work.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managed care environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Senior Policy Analyst or equivalent.

Compensation

$81,198.75 - $101,498.44 annually
