American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) in Great Barrington, MA, seeks a part-time Research Associate for its Visiting Research Fellow Program. The role supports coordination, administration, and development of the VRFP, serving as the main contact for fellows and collaborating across AIER departments.

With guidance from AIER's research leadership, you will conduct background research, produce short-form commentary, and craft content using Canva and email platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in economics, political science, public policy, history, or related field preferred; equivalent combination allowed.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills; manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interact professionally with scholars, staff, and external contacts.
• Initiative and sound judgment; adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable using digital tools for program administration and content development.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and administer AIER's Visiting Research Fellow Program.
• Serve as a primary contact for visiting fellows before, during, and after their time at AIER.
• Create program-related promotional content using Canva and email platforms.
• Develop and distribute communications regarding fellowship opportunities to scholars and affiliates.
• Coordinate with AIER staff to maximize fellowship value and connect fellows to opportunities.
• Promote fellows' research and engagement activities via social media.
