Job summary

Aurrera Health Group LLC is a mission-driven national health policy and strategic communications firm seeking a remote Healthcare Policy and Programs Associate. You will support Medicaid policy research, analysis, and written deliverables for clients across states and agencies.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS and at least two years in healthcare, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Interest in supporting proposal development and learning consulting best practices.
  • Ability to work hours aligned with peak Pacific Time Zone business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Support client projects through health policy research, analysis, and written deliverables.
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement efforts by preparing materials, summaries, and supporting outreach activities.
  • Manage assigned tasks and timelines across multiple projects, escalating risks as needed.

Hiring Note:
Location

Occasional travel to company events, meetings, and client sites may be required, but the primary workstation for this position will be remote.

As a national firm, the Aurrera Health Group team works across four time zones. This position must be available toPacific Time Zone business hours.

Compensation and Benefits

Aurrera Health Group offers competitive salaries based on industry standards and experience, skills, and responsibility. Wemaintainequitablepay bands for employees based on these factors. The starting pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 per year, with an opportunity for an end-of-year bonus.
