Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, advertising, or related field requiring extensive writing experience.
• 18 months experience in graphic design and layout, writing, and researching information.

Responsibilities

• Disseminate OCEP publications, blog posts, and public-facing research summaries.
• Draft website content, email communications, and other public materials.
• Manage OCEP's social media and grow digital outreach.
• Prepare media materials for new research releases.
• Track impact of OCEP research including media mentions and policy citations.
• Assist with outreach to policymakers, education leaders, journalists, and partners.
• Coordinate research briefings, policy discussions, and public forums.
• Provide logistics and coordination for research projects and events.
• Support timelines, document management, and cross-initiative coordination.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Advertising or related field
