Job summary

ClearPath invites interns to join the External Affairs team and gain hands-on experience interfacing with media, policymakers, and stakeholders on clean energy policy. The role emphasizes entrepreneurship, goal setting, and active engagement with corporate partners to advance policy outcomes.

Interns will learn to plan events, coordinate outreach, and support communications campaigns while working in a dynamic, learning-focused environment on Capitol Hill.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year university and pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Interest in Capitol Hill, policy, or clean energy topics is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing events from conception to completion.
• Support marketing efforts for events, including creating promotional materials and managing social media campaigns.
• Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance.
• Assist in post-event activities such as gathering feedback, compiling reports, and evaluating event success.
