Job summary

Flock Safety seeks a policy-focused legal professional to conduct comprehensive legal research, track federal, state, and local regulations, and draft communications for customers, communities, and elected officials.

Collaborate with Legal, External Affairs, and Communications teams to ensure messaging aligns with regulatory obligations and reduces risk while advancing privacy and safety. Law school background and public-sector experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Attended law school and post-graduate public-sector experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform precise legal research and analyze proposals.
• Experience partnering with legal, communications, and external affairs teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and legislative tracking at federal, state, and local levels.
• Draft and review communications for customers, elected officials, and public safety stakeholders.
• Partner with Legal, External Affairs, and Communications teams to align messaging with regulatory obligations.
• Analyze emerging legislative trends in privacy and public safety regulation.
• Develop policy position materials to mitigate business risk.
