The Illinois Policy Institute seeks an Analytics Intern. The intern will work closely with thedata and operations team to run in-depth analyses, uncover actionable insights, and helpstakeholders make informed decisions.

This is a fast-paced environment where data is oftenmessy and unstructured, so strong analytical skills and a solid technical toolkit are essential. Stand Together Fellowships pays participants a stipend of either $7,500 for full-time participants working approximately 32 hours

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience building data visualizations with ggplot2, matplotlib, seaborn, or plotly.
• Experience with messy/unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and transform unstructured data.
• Conduct analyses to answer policy questions.
• Create clear data visualizations for diverse audiences.
• Document data sources, methods, and code.
