State of Colorado is seeking a Policy Analyst in the Governor’s Office of Policy and Research to analyze policy portfolios and provide recommendations. The analyst will coordinate across the Governor’s policy team and partner agencies, support scheduling, and contribute to strategic policy development.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, a solid understanding of state processes, and the ability to work under supervisory guidance with a statewide focus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• Public policy analysis and development skills.
• Experience with policy areas in the relevant portfolio or related issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with governmental and legislative processes.
• High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to identify and assess policy initiatives within a broad agenda.

Responsabilidades

• Provide policy analysis and recommendations with supervisory support.
• Coordinate policy work with the Governor’s Office and other state agencies.
• Support administrative processes, including scheduling, for the Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Legislative Affairs and Director of Policy and Research.
• Assist with policy coordination among the broader policy office.
• May travel within the State as needed.
