Job description

  • Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Information Technology Management, Business Management, Information Systems, Computer, Network Security, or Business Administration, and experience equivalent to two years of increasingly responsible cybersecurity policy, compliance, governance, audit, risk management, or information security risk analysis and mitigation work.
  • Substitution of Education for Experience: Qualifying experience in policy, compliance, or audit work may substitute for the required education, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years.

Job Overview: Under general supervision, the Cybersecurity Policy Analyst is responsible for policy development and review, endorsement of technology products and services, and document redaction. The successful candidate will clearly articulate security concerns and requirements and draft security policies under direction. This position will review procurement documents, incorporate requirements for appropriate security control, negotiate with potential contractors, and redact confidential information as requested.
