Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of New York is seeking an Account Policy Specialist to advise on master accounts, proposed payment accounts, and related financial services. You will collaborate with RBAS and cross-bank teams to drive policy decisions, manage account access considerations, and support risk and compliance frameworks.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to engage diverse stakeholders, and lead process improvements within RBAS.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience advising on policy related to master/proposed payment accounts and related financial services.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret policy requirements and support analysis with data/tools.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Policy, and Bank leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advise on policy issues related to account access and financial services.
• Synthesize complex topics for Bank executives and stakeholders.
• Lead or contribute to cross-bank workgroups and initiatives.
• Engage with RBAS Account Managers to review account requests and resolve complex problems.
• Lead bi-weekly stakeholder meetings on account access reviews.
• Represent RBAS in risk and audit reviews.
