Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service.
• Experience maintaining order to protect life and property, conducting routine patrols, interviewing witnesses, and securing a crime scene.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted state driver’s license and be medically fit to operate a vehicle and perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of police duties including patrols, control desk duties, and security operations.
• Coordinate with local courts and engage in crime prevention activities for the local jurisdiction.
• Maintain order, respond to emergencies, gather information, and prepare reports.
