Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking sworn police officers in North Carolina to join our Company Police Force. Full-time, part-time, weekend-only and on-call opportunities with a starting pay of $37.50 per hour.

Officers who complete contractual requirements and secure an active position will receive a $2,000 hiring bonus, with an additional $2,000 on first anniversary and $4,000 annually thereafter. Requirements include being at least 21, a High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, firearm

Qualifications

• Must be an active police officer, non-retired.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED and Police ID.
• NC Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
• Must maintain firearms proficiency and attend periodic trainings.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital campus and surrounding property to maintain order and public safety.
• Issue traffic and parking citations; investigate, arrest suspects, and preserve evidence.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in drills and evacuations; provide security escorts as needed.
• Attend required trainings and maintain proficiency in firearms; perform other client-driven duties.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age. You must be an active police officer not retired
• High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
• North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Attend required periodic training sessions and seminars, maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms
• Able to:
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling hospital campus, checking property, conducting room searches, maintaining order and public safety.
• Issues traffic and parking citations; apprehends, questions and arrests suspects; collects and preserves evidence; conducts investigations; responds to and assists in all medical emergencies; assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings; provides security escorts for personnel; and chauffeurs division heads and visitors as requested.
• Attends required periodic training sessions and seminars; maintains required level of proficiency in the use of firearms.
• perform other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.
