Job summary

City of Rockledge is seeking entry-level Police Officers. The role offers a starting salary of $60,000, plus built-in overtime and holiday pay; during the Police Academy you’ll earn $25.76 per hour while you train.

We also offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for newly Florida State Certified Officers, and a grant to help pay for your academy. Years of service may adjust starting pay higher for experienced officers.

Entry level Police Officer starts $60,000. Plus built-in overtime and holiday pay.

Already have years of service with another agency? We start higher than the $60,000, depending on years of service.

Specialized Units:

Emergency Response Team, K-9 Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, Street Crime Unit, Traffic Unit, UAV/Drone Unit, School Resource Officer, Community Relations, and Crisis Negotiations Team
