Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Police Officer role based in Louisburg, NC. The Police Officer is responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls for service, and enforcing local, state, and federal laws while upholding constitutional rights and department policies. Daily duties include conducting investigations, preparing detailed incident and arrest reports, performing traffic enforcement, and assisting with emergency response situations. The role also involves engaging with community members, providing public safety education, participating in crime prevention initiatives, and collaborating with other agencies when needed. Officers are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, use sound judgment in stressful situations, and follow established procedures to ensure safety and security for all community members.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform law enforcement duties, including patrol, investigations, traffic enforcement, and emergency response in a safe and effective manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse community members, de-escalate conflicts, and prepare clear, accurate written reports.
