Job summary

Allied Universal is recruiting sworn police officers to join its Company Police Force in North Carolina. This part-time role is based on hospital campuses, delivering professional public safety services and securing facilities.

The ideal candidate is an active officer with NC Basic Law Enforcement certification, firearm certification, and the ability to work evening shifts. You will patrol, respond to emergencies, issue citations, and escort personnel as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Active police officer (not retired).
• North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
• Police ID, VPEC, and firearm certification preferred.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital campus, check property, maintain order and public safety.
• Issue traffic and parking citations; arrest suspects; collect and preserve evidence.
• Respond to medical emergencies; assist in drills and evacuations; provide security escorts.
• Attend ongoing training; maintain proficiency in firearms; perform other duties as needed.

Pay Rate: $36.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years of age You must be an active police officer not retired
• High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
• North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Attend required periodic training sessions and seminars, maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms
• Able to:
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Responsibilities:

• Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling hospital campus, checking property, conducting room searches, maintaining order and public safety.
• Issues traffic and parking citations; apprehends, questions and arrests suspects; collects and preserves evidence; conducts investigations; responds to and assists in all medical emergencies; assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings; provides security escorts for personnel; and chauffeurs division heads and visitors as requested.
• Attends required periodic training sessions and seminars; maintains required level of proficiency in the use of firearms.
• perform other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.
