The Village of Libertyville is seeking part-time Crossing Guards to ensure the safety of children at school crossings. Position requires availability for 1.25 hours before and after school, Monday to Friday during the school year.
Guards will be responsible for escorting children across streets, ensuring safe passages, and observing any suspicious activities. Interested candidates must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check. Join our dedicated team making a difference!
Crossing Guards must be available for 1.25 hours in the morning before school, and 1.25 hours in the afternoon after school, Monday thru Friday during the school year. These are paid part-time positions ($15 per hour) with the Village of Libertyville. Guards are assigned to specific intersections for the duration of the school year and must be able to provide their own transportation to and from their assigned intersection.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, successfully pass a background check prior to employment, have good eyesight and hearing, and be capable of standing for up to an hour in all weather conditions.
