Strategic Government Resources, Inc. seeks a community‑minded Police Chief to lead the Live Oak Police Department in Texas.

The role reports to the City Manager and drives strategic direction for all law enforcement operations, emphasizing ethics, integrity, and public service. The Chief will oversee a 52‑person department, including Patrol, Investigations, Emergency Communications, SWAT, and Community Programs, in a growing city at the I‑35 and Loop 1604 corridor.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field.
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience, including five (5) years in a command staff position.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• TCOLE Master Peace Officer certification.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic direction for all law enforcement operations.
• Lead and model an ethical, community‑oriented police presence.
• Inspire and manage a team across Patrol, Investigations, Communications, and Community Programs.
