Job summary

• Must be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Thorough, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience reading blueprints, BOMs, and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the detailing required to manufacture a utility pole design.
• Review detailing work for accuracy to UMIC and customer standards, including BOM.
• Coordinate with Sales and Engineers to ensure correct design requirements are being used and products are built properly.
• Communicate with customers to clarify technical decisions when necessary.
• Create and check in-house and vendor designs.
• Verify layouts using AutoCAD, PLS-Pole or SolidWorks for manufacturability.
