We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.

Location: Polaris Lounge - United O'Hare Airport - United Airlines ORDCS Terminal, Chicago, IL 60666. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time. Shifts include 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Days may vary, including weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.

Requirements: One year of culinary experience required. ServSafe Certified.

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers according to standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
  3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals for quality.
  4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
  5. Store, label, and date food items following HACCP guidelines.
  6. Complete required documentation and reports.
  7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
  8. Take customer orders and prepare quick items.
  9. Serve customers efficiently and friendly.
  10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  11. Resolve customer concerns and perform additional duties as assigned.
