Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric consults for residents in long-term care facilities.
• Assess and manage foot and ankle conditions.
• Perform nail care and minor procedures.
• Evaluate gait issues and foot deformities.
• Collaborate to prevent falls and complications.
• Educate residents and caregivers on foot hygiene.
• Document findings in EMRs.
