Job summary

Curalta Foot + Ankle, LLC is a fast-growing podiatry practice seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant / Front Desk Administrator for our Dunmore, PA office. The MA/FDA will manage the front desk, prepare patients for treatment, assist the doctor in clinical care, and ensure a welcoming patient experience.

Ideal candidates have Medical Assistant Certification and 2+ years of medical/clinical experience, with proficiency in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• 2+ years' Medical / Clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR computerized processes and data entry procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and accompany to examination room.
• Register new patients into the EMR with accurate demographic data.
• Check-in returning patients and confirm all documents are complete.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with procedures as needed.
• Check-out patients, collect copays and schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
• Perform sterilization and manage inventory of supplies.
