Carle Health in Urbana, Illinois seeks a BE/BC Surgical Podiatrist to join a three-surgeon team. The role covers full foot/ankle surgery, including hindfoot reconstructions, with on-call responsibilities shared among colleagues.

Surgery is performed at the new ambulatory center and hospital facilities; there is dedicated clinic time in a major orthopedic building with potential outreach and opportunities for teaching and research with Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• BE/BC through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
• Foot and ankle fellowship training required.
• On-call rotation split equally.

Responsabilités

• Practice full scope of foot/ankle surgery, including hindfoot/ankle reconstruction and trauma.
• Block surgical time at the newly built ambulatory surgery center as well as Carle Foundation Hospital and Carle At The Riverfront campus in Danville.
• Dedicated clinic time at a large modern Orthopedic/Sports Medicine building in Champaign with possibility of outreach.
• Teaching and research opportunities with Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the world’s first engineering-focused medical school.

• Foot and ankle fellowship training required
• Join a stable team of threeDPM trained surgeons who collaborate with a strong Orthopedic division
• On-call rotation split equally
• Practice full scope of foot/ankle surgery, including hindfoot/ankle reconstruction and trauma
• Block surgical time; surgeries done atnewly built 23,000 square foot ambulatory surgery center as well as Carle Foundation Hospital and new Carle At The Riverfront campus in Danville
• Dedicated clinic time at a large modern 52,000 square foot Orthopedic/Sports Medicine buildingin Champaign with possibility of outreach
• Teaching and research opportunities available with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $325,000 - $350,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
