Job summary

Atlas Search in Ocean County, NJ is seeking a skilled Podiatrist (DPM) to provide comprehensive medical and surgical foot and ankle care within an integrated orthopedic team.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in Foot & Ankle Reconstruction or related subspecialties, board qualified/certified, with NJ licensure eligibility and a path toward leadership and practice growth.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a PMSR/RRA residency program.
• Board Qualified or Board Certified.
• Eligibility for unrestricted New Jersey podiatric licensure.
• Fellowship training in Foot & Ankle Reconstruction, Trauma, Sports Medicine, or Limb Salvage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, from fractures to diabetic foot conditions and deformities
• Perform a full spectrum of surgical procedures, including forefoot/rearfoot reconstruction, ankle arthroscopy, tendon repair, and fracture fixation
• Interpret diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT, ultrasound) and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, pain management, and vascular medicine teams
• Build strong referral relationships with internal and external providers
• Mentor physician assistants, medical assistants, and clinical support staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice growth efforts
