Job summary

Prime Physicians is seeking a skilled Podiatrist to diagnose, treat, and prevent foot and ankle conditions at Lawton Indian Health Clinic in Oklahoma. The role is Full-Time/Contract with a standard 8-hour shift from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

You will examine patients’ feet and lower legs, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, including surgery when needed, and educate patients on foot care. Collaboration with PCPs and other specialists is required; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• DPM degree required and ABPM/ABFAS board certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and patient care capabilities are required.
• Experience in wound care or diabetic foot management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' feet and lower legs to identify issues such as deformities, infections, or injuries.
• Diagnose conditions including bunions, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, fractures, and arthritis.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medication, orthotics, physical therapy, or surgery.
• Perform surgical procedures when necessary (e.g., removal of ingrown toenails or skin lesions).
• Educate patients on proper foot care, hygiene, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, orthopedists, and other specialists as needed.
• The role may involve on-call responsibilities and the performance of surgical procedures.
