Job summary

The Foot Care Center in Billings, MT, is actively seeking two podiatrists to join our busy practice serving Billings, MT and Sheridan, WY. We offer surgical care, wound management, and comprehensive foot and ankle treatments across multiple locations.

Qualified candidates will hold a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine with MT or WY licensure eligibility, ABFAS board certification, and a strong background in patient care, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Must hold or be eligible for a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and podiatry license in MT or WY
  • Board certification in Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) preferred
  • Experience with clinical documentation, patient care, and EMR systems

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions across patients
  • Perform procedures and wound care as needed
  • Prescribe medications and plan treatment strategies
  • Educate patients and families on care and prevention

Job description

The Foot Care Center is the region’s largest and fastest growing podiatric practice. We are proud to serve the Billings, Montana, and Sheridan, Wyoming communities with two offices in Billings, Montana, and one in Sheridan. Wyoming. Started in 1987, The Foot Care Center is the most innovative practice in the region. We are a busy practice of four podiatrists in three locations and have an immediate need for two additional podiatrists to support our current volume, with plans for continued growth and expansion in the region. FCC is a proud partner of Balance Health, the largest majority podiatrist owned practice in the country and the nation’s premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice.

Essential Functions
  • Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases
  • Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary along with wound care management as needed
  • Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
  • Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
  • Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems
  • Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team
  • Provide health promotion and preventive medicine
  • Appropriately maintains medical records on assigned patients

Compensation / Benefits
  • Competitive physician salary program with a base ($150,000 - $175,000) +comp. plan (level depends on applicable experience)
  • Benefit eligibility for FT employees working 30+ hours weekly begins first of the month following 30 days of employment.
  • Eligibility to participate in our 401(k) program begins first of the month following 60 days of employment

THE BILLINGS MONTANA OFFICES

We currently have 2 offices in beautiful Billings, Montana. Our 3,700 sq. ft. facility boasts four treatment rooms, an impressive waiting room, in-office surgical suite, a conference room, two fireplaces, and management offices. The Billings West office is home to our and footwear department and orthotic lab. The stand-alone building resides on the corner of one of Billing's most busy and well-known roads. Our second East Billings location is a beautiful, newly remodeled space and the only podiatry office in that portion of the city.

Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred
  • Current License as a Podiatrist in the State of Montana or Wyoming
  • Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry
  • Board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery
  • Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
  • Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with diverse patient, colleague, and vendor populations
  • PC Proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook and EMR database
  • Ability to provide legal proof of eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to successfully pass an in-depth background investigation
