Job summary

HealthDrive delivers on-site podiatry services to residents in long-term care, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across Northern Michigan. The Podiatrist will provide general podiatry services to nursing home residents, with mobility to daily travel between sites.

Flexible scheduling allows part-time or full-time work (2-4 days per week). Eligible clinicians receive uncapped daily pay of $700+ and full administrative support, including malpractice coverage and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• D.P.M. degree.
• Completion of a one-year podiatric residency program.
• Current State professional license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, the Internet and to learn healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general podiatry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and regular podiatry care.
• Provide wound care management.
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in our EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment requires daily travel to facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
