Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team in Utica, NY. You will provide comprehensive podiatric care to residents in long-term care facilities.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401K, and malpractice insurance. A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and a DEA license are required; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• DPM degree from an accredited institution.
• DEA license is required.
• Experience in long-term care setting preferred.
• Prolonged standing/walking and ability to assist in lifting patients.

Responsibilities

• Performed examinations on patients' legs and feet to identify and diagnose diseases and conditions.
• Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
• Prescribe medications for joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Offer guidance on foot care and overall wellness practices.
• Request additional medical tests as necessary based on initial assessments.

• Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.
• Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.
