Upperline Health seeks a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine to provide foot and ankle care, split between clinics in Pell City and Hoover, AL. The candidate should show compassion, attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment. As Upperline expands, opportunities across the company may arise.

The role includes clinic duties, hospital staff membership, and ongoing professional development within a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure is required.
• DPM license – active license preferred or the ability to obtain within applicable timeframe.
• Possession of DEA registration or eligibility required.
• CPR certification expected, and consistent the requirements of the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure that each of your interactions with patients, family caregivers, clinicians, and team members is effective and meaningful.

Mansioni

• Our DPMs provide Upperline services in a clinic setting. Staff membership at the hospital will be expected.
• Assess the patients presenting lower extremity complaints, review medical history, perform physical examination, order imaging or labs, and develop a clinical plan of care.
• Provide care for podiatric patients including comprehensive examination and management of foot and ankle conditions.
• Administer advice on foot care and educate patients and families about general wellness, medications, adherence and prevention.
• Maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations and Upperline Health standards.
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Other related duties as deemed necessary.
