Podcast & Content Operations (Fractional General Manager)

Rob Has a Podcast (RHAP), the leading destination for reality TV fandom with 21M+ annual downloads and 10K+ paying members, is on the hunt for their Fractional General Manager to professionalize operations and drive growth! We're helping them fill this position.

If you're passionate about digital media operations and excited to transform a beloved creator business into a scalable enterprise, this is the right role for you.

Requirements:

  • You have 7+ years leading operations, business transformation, or program management in media, digital content, or podcasting
  • You're a proven builder of systems and organizational change with a bias to ship, measure, and iterate
  • You're comfortable leading creatives while independently managing multiple workstreams
  • You have strong strategic thinking abilities with hands‑on execution skills
  • You can work 15-25 hours per week remotely (U.S. preferred)
  • You're available for a 4-month contract (October-January) with potential to extend
  • Experience with podcast industry and fan‑driven communities is a bonus
  • Familiarity with reality TV content and the podcast space is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Streamline production workflows, calendars, tools, and decision paths across the network
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams using current programming and community touchpoints
  • Design and implement performance reviews with role scorecards and accountability metrics
  • Update job descriptions and clarify roles, responsibilities, and expectations across the team
  • Evaluate and sunset low‑ROI projects tactfully without harming relationships or community
  • Institute bi‑weekly 1:1s and quarterly review cycles to strengthen accountability culture
  • Work closely with the Founder to position RHAP for 2x revenue growth YoY
  • Create implementation plans for operational improvements and monitor progress
