Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will support outpatient and inpatient patients with a service-oriented approach.

Requirements include a WA PTA license, at least 1 year of relevant PT experience (adult acute care, orthopedic, neurology, gerontology, oncology preferred) and current BLS certification. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Washington.
• Minimum one year of experience in physical therapy in adult acute care, orthopedic, neurology, gerontology, or oncology preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed PT.
• Perform PT treatments for outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed.
• Document in the medical record timely and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and health professionals to coordinate care.
