Job summary

LMI is seeking a PNT/NAVWAR Analyst & Team Lead to shape future architectures for Position, Navigation, and Timing. You will lead analysis across space systems and investment planning, balancing end-user needs with Space Force priorities in a hybrid Colorado Springs, CO setting.

The role requires directing a team of analysts, delivering rigorous, defensible analyses, and communicating complex results to senior government leadership. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of PNT systems and GPS.
• Familiarity with NAVWAR concepts and countermeasures.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience applying systems engineering principles to complex problems.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical plans based on limited customer direction and break problems into defined tasks.
• Own the analysis and plan for PNT force designs extending 10+ years.
• Lead a team of analysts, review work, ensure rigor and documentation.
• Lead analytical software development for model building and data analysis.
• Assess trade spaces across space-based, terrestrial, and alternative PNT sources.
• Represent Space Force provider equities and end-user requirements.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for investment decisions across agencies.
• Apply systems engineering to structure problems and evaluate designs.
• Build and apply quantitative models to assess PNT performance including resistance to jamming and spoofing.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and experts to ensure well-informed designs.
• Communicate findings through reports, briefings, and presentations to leadership.
