PNC Wealth Management invites ambitious graduates to join a 12-month development program designed to move associates from development roles into production within Investment Sales. Based in Pittsburgh, this in-office track offers exposure to financial advisory and investment services with hands-on learning and formal coursework.

The goal of PNC’s Development Programs is to move associates from development roles into production roles in one of PNC’s lines of business.

PNC Wealth Management offers Investment solutions for clients throughout the United States. The track provides exposure to various investment advisor licensed roles, structured development, and on‑the‑job and formal classroom learning designed to establish PNC’s core competencies. Associates possess strong problem‑solving ability, interest in mastering complex products, a strong work ethic and a highly competitive nature.

The PNC Wealth Management track includes the following potential job placement opportunities:

  • Financial Advisor
  • Advisor Direct Financial Advisor
  • Investment Services Consultant

The track is an engaging 12 month experience especially designed to equip you with the foundational and transferable skills that will enable you to navigate a successful career in Investment Sales. PNC Wealth Management financial analysts master capabilities to excel in financial advice and planning, relationship management, sales and service.

On-the-job learning is important to your success in this program. This position is an in-office role available in various markets across the PNC footprint.

Job Profile

Participates as an analyst/associate in the line of business development program.

  • Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g., deal, sales, or process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
  • Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g., identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).
  • Participates in formal learning (e.g., classroom, web-based or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
  • Supports the internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service at all times; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
Licenses

FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 65 and 63), and relevant state Life & Health Insurance licenses required, (must be obtained within 180 days post hire).
