AMD, Inc. is seeking a PMTS Software Development Engineer to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Buildkite, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins, ensuring smooth software delivery.

You will lead a group of contributors and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to modernize developer workflows. You will leverage your knowledge of electronics, processors, and design principles to contribute to the design, development, and testing of AMD’s proprietary products, applying best practices

Competenze

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent with seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.

Job Role and Responsibility:

AMD, Inc., is hiring PMTS Software Development Engineer to Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Buildkite, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery. Contribute to major components of our CI platforms whilst leading a group of individual contributors. Work with stakeholders across many component teams to help modernize their developer workflows. Contribute to adjacent open-source projects taking leadership roles within them as needed. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company proprietary products.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required:

Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Alternate combination of education and experience:

Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
