What You Will Do:

Guidehouse PMO Analysts support the successful delivery of complex technology modernization and transformation initiatives by providing project management, governance, reporting, and operational support across the program lifecycle. They work closely with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure projects remain organized, informed, and aligned with program objectives. Our PMO Analysts are highly organized, detail-oriented professionals who excel at managing priorities, tracking deliverables, and maintaining visibility into project performance. They help facilitate communication, support program governance activities, and provide the information needed for effective decision-making.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Support project managers and program leadership in the planning, execution, and monitoring of technology projects and program activities.
  • Maintain project schedules, work plans, milestones, deliverables, action items, risks, issues, dependencies, and decision logs.
  • Support project managers in tracking delivery milestones across requirements, development, testing, deployment, and operational transition activities.
  • Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, metrics, executive briefings, and governance materials.
  • Support project governance activities, including steering committee meetings, leadership reviews, decision tracking, and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate the collection, validation, and reporting of project performance information across multiple workstreams.
  • Assist with resource planning, staffing coordination, and workload tracking activities.
  • Support project financial management activities, including budget tracking, labor tracking, invoice support, and funding reconciliation.
  • Assist with documentation management and maintenance of project repositories, collaboration sites, and knowledge management resources.
  • Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and client representatives.
  • Support meeting planning, agenda development, meeting facilitation, and meeting minutes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of PMO best practices.
  • Build strong working relationships with project teams and client stakeholders.
  • Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.
What You Will Need:
  • U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the United States with the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of professional experience supporting project management, program management, consulting, business operations, or related activities.
  • Experience supporting project schedules, governance, reporting, project controls, or program management activities.
  • Experience preparing project status reports, dashboards, meeting materials, governance documentation, or executive presentations.
  • Experience tracking risks, issues, action items, dependencies, and project deliverables.
  • General understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and Agile project delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience utilizing project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Experience supporting federal government technology modernization initiatives.
  • Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.
  • Experience supporting software development, technology implementation, or system modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Experience supporting project financial management, budget tracking, forecasting, or contract reporting activities.
  • Experience supporting financial management, budgeting, procurement, acquisition, or workflow automation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Appian or other low-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes or related financial management environments.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or similar certification.
