Job summary

Luster is seeking a PMIS Configuration Consultant in Oakland, CA, to configure, implement, and support PMIS across large-scale infrastructure programs. You will build modules for budget, cost, schedule, risk, and reporting, and partner with project controls teams to ensure audit-ready data.

The role is full-time, hybrid with up to 50% travel, and involves SQL/Python data work, security configurations, and end-user training to enable robust program reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of PMIS implementation experience with Unifier, P6, Kahua, or Procore.
• Experience with large infrastructure programs across highways, transit, water.
• Understanding of project controls and data structures (WBS, CBS).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Configure PMIS processes for budget, cost, change orders, payments, risk, issues, cash flow, and earned value.
• Configure security roles, access, and integrations between PMIS and other systems.
• Develop and maintain data models for integrated reporting across cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
• Create project reports and dashboards aligned with client and program reporting requirements.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation across PMIS using SQL/Python.
• Provide end-user training on deployed PMIS configurations and reporting tools.
