Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services in LaGrange, GA is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or experienced Physician Assistants to provide psychiatric care in long-term care and rehabilitation settings. You’ll enjoy flexible schedules (full-time or part-time) with no nights, weekends, or on-call, and a predictable caseload within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PMHNP certification or PA with relevant psychiatric experience.
• Experience with psychotropic medication management.
• Active DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff).
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders.
