Job summary

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Supervisor to provide and oversee mobile, community-based psychiatric and SUD services for individuals with SMI and co-occurring conditions. The role combines direct clinical work with leadership of an interdisciplinary field team in non-traditional settings, including encampments, shelters, and community locations.

Qualifications

• MSN required; DNP preferred with psychiatric/mental health emphasis.
• Experience providing psychiatric care to individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
• Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders is required.
• Community mental health, street medicine, emergency psychiatry, or public behavioral health experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field-based psychiatric evaluations, DSM-based diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychotropic and SUD-related medications.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and engagement in the field.
• Supervise interdisciplinary field-based teams and provide staff coaching and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, program development, and service expansion.
