Job summary

Mind Healing & Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to deliver holistic mental health and substance use care. The role combines in-person and telehealth visits within a collaborative team to manage complex cases, develop treatment plans, and provide MAT and related therapies.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PMHNP experience, DEA prescriptive authority, and a willingness to obtain the DATA 2000 waiver.

Qualifications

• Active PMHNP license and PMHNP-BC certification.
• Minimum 3+ years of psychiatric NP clinical experience.
• Experience with substance use disorders and MAT.
• DATA 2000 Waiver (X-waiver) or willingness to obtain.
• DEA license and prescriptive authority.
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
• Comfort with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Diagnose and manage mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide medication management, including MAT.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests.
• Provide care via both in-person and telehealth settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives.
• Provide TMS and Spravato treatment; willing to teach if possible.
