Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Jacksonville is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for our outpatient clinic on a full-time basis. You will provide medication management, evaluate patients, and offer brief psychotherapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Florida license.
• Two years' experience as a Psychiatric NP or one year plus three years as a NP in any specialty.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions.
• Administer injections for LAIs when necessary (infrequent).
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families.
• Document services per company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advances in psychiatry through continuing education.
