Job summary

This full-time position requires completion of PMHNP-BC, state licensure, and a current eCredential; two years of ambulatory mental health experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system; to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must hold a valid registered license in the state where they intend to practice as an advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse and have successfully completed ANCC certification as a PMHNP-BC.

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health evaluations, diagnose, create treatment plans, triage patients and make referrals when appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide psychotherapy and safety planning to patients in outpatient settings.
