Job summary

Windom Area Health seeks a Behavioral Health CNP to deliver outpatient and urgent mental health care, including diagnostic assessments, medication management, and crisis evaluations. You will work within the Outpatient and Specialty Clinics and integrate with the Walk-In Mental Health Clinic while maintaining an outpatient schedule.

Requirements include a Master’s or Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and a MN APRN license with PMHNP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and MN license.
• PMHNP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with pediatric/adolescent patients preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, assessment and treatment planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans through discharge.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Coordinate care with Walk-In Mental Health Clinic and outpatient schedule.
• Promote services in the local medical community.
