Job summary

CEC Healthcare seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and med management for adults within the FQHC framework. You will work across Bethpage and Hauppauge, NY, collaborating with therapists to deliver patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes integrated care, quality documentation, and serving underserved populations with a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Active New York State NP license with prescriptive authority.
• Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
• PMHNP Board Certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• Minimum of one year PMHNP experience preferred.
• Experience in outpatient/FQHC or integrated care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
• Diagnose psychiatric and behavioral health conditions across the lifespan.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications per NYS regulations.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care.
