Job summary

Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor, Maine is seeking a full-time PMHNP to join our Adult Medication Management team. You will provide outpatient psychiatric care alongside experienced psychiatrists, PMHNPs, clinicians, and other behavioral health professionals dedicated to improving the lives of adults across Maine.

The schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekend clinic hours (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and offers call opportunities for additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care to adults
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinicians
• Deliver comprehensive medication management and psychotherapy when appropriate

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and psychotherapy services for adult patients
• Coordinate with the Medical Director of Outpatient Psychiatry
• Maintain balanced patient schedule to ensure quality care and practitioner wellbeing
