Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is expanding its Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner neurotherapy program in the Denver area. The Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner will conduct neurofeedback sessions, perform clinical assessments, and manage treatment plans within SNF and LTC settings.

The role requires in-person rounding and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based behavioral health care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of practice.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Strong clinical documentation skills and comfort with electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurotherapy sessions and neurofeedback delivery.
• Perform clinical assessments and manage treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated care.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately (session notes, treatment plans, progress summaries).
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational policies.
• Support program development and quality initiatives related to neurofeedback and psychiatric care.
