Job summary

Kramer School of Nursing at Oklahoma City University invites applications for a full-time psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) Clinical Instructor or Assistant Professor beginning January 2027. This non-tenure track, nine-month appointment is renewable and rank is based on qualifications.

The faculty will prepare and conduct courses, evaluate student learning, engage in scholarship, serve on university committees, and participate in recruitment and retention efforts, while

Qualifications

• Terminal degree preferred.
• Oklahoma RN with APRN recognition required.
• MSN or DNP with PMHNP certification required.
• Dual national PMHNP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct courses in alignment with university outcomes and accrediting agencies.
• Evaluate student learning, maintain records of evaluations.
• Engage in scholarship supporting Kramer School of Nursing’s mission.
• Serve the University and the Nursing School, including committee work.
• Participate in professional organizations as a member.
• Adhere to all relevant handbooks and policies.
• Participate in assessment and student recruitment/retention efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
