Job summary

NP Now, LLC expands its psychiatric nursing team in Statesville, NC, 35 miles north of Charlotte. The PMHNP will provide care at the Behavioral Health Hospital and may grow into outpatient services, joining an initiative that includes teaching and leadership opportunities.

Requirements include an MSN or DNP, PMHNP certification, and an active NC license or eligibility, with interest in both inpatient and outpatient settings and strong collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from an accredited school.
• Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Active NC license or eligible for licensure in NC.
• Experience or strong interest in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• PMHNP care for patients at the system's Behavioral Health Hospital.
• Potential growth to outpatient services.
• Inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care.
• Comprehensive psychiatric assessments, individualized treatment plans, and medication management, including for patients with substance-use disorders.
• Use of advanced treatments and cutting-edge therapies.
• Collaborate with and supervise mid-level providers.
• Opportunities for leadership, research, and teaching.
• Accurate, compliant documentation.
