Job summary

The Behavioral Health division of Lincoln County Health and Human Services is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive mental health care in Primary Care and Behavioral Health settings in Oregon. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, treatment planning, and patient education for adults, adolescents, and children as needed.

Salary ranges from $148,194 to $199,162 per year.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and accredited NP program.
• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification as a psychiatric NP in Oregon.
• Oregon Driver's License within 30 days of hire.
• Unencumbered NP and RN licenses in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis for adults, adolescents, and children as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with documentation.
• Coordinate with physicians and program leadership for care planning and referrals.
• Educate clients and families about disorders, treatment options, and community resources.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement and staff education.
