Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services seeks an Experienced Certified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our Quincy CBHC team. You will evaluate patients, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans in a collaborative, community-focused setting.

The role emphasizes prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications, providing brief psychotherapy, and coordinating care with therapists, psychiatrists, and primary care providers.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a Psychiatric-Mental Health specialization.
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active Massachusetts RN and APRN licenses.
• Current DEA registration with controlled substance prescribing authority.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of psychiatric clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community mental health.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications using evidence-based practices.
• Provide brief supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation.
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate patient care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (within 72 hours).
• Perform crisis assessments and coordinate referrals for higher levels of care when appropriate.
